By bus and tram

Our office on Castle Street is a few minutes walk from the bus stops on Princes Street and five minutes walk from the Princes Street tram stop near the Royal Scottish Academy Building.

By train

Edinburgh Waverley Train Station is a 15 minute walk, and Haymarket Train Station is a 20 minute walk from our office.

By bicycle

Visitors traveling by bicycle can find on street Sheffield stands, to secure your bike to, on the corner of Rose Street and Castle Street.

On street disabled parking can be found immediately outside our office on Castle Street.

Access to our office

Disabled parking and taxi access

The nearest on street disabled parking spaces are immediately outside of our office on Castle Street. A taxi rank is next to the disabled parking places and can be used for both pick up and drop off.

Approach to our office

The pavement outside of our office on Castle Street is smooth, flat paving stones. There is a buzzer/intercom system on the left-hand side of the entrance. It is not necessary to use this intercom to enter the building but it can be used to call for further assistance. The entrance has double doors. the left-hand door will open outwards, automatically, on approach. There is a slight lip between the pavement and the interior lobby floor.

Building interior

Our office is on the second floor of the building. There are 44 stairs from ground floor to our office. Lifts are immediately opposite the entrance. Only the right-hand lift will stop at the second floor. Our office door is immediately on the left after exiting the lift. An intercom/buzzer for access is on the wall to the right of our office door. A member of staff will open the door. Our external office door opens inward.

Inside our office

There are two steps between our office door and the main part of the office. A disabled access step lift is on the left of the entrance. Operating instructions for the step list are displayed on the wall beside the lift. The member of staff who opened the door can also provide assistance operating the lift.  There is a double fire door to access the main office, these open outwards/towards the entrance. The disabled toilet is next to the kitchenette area within the office. The disabled toilet door opens outward.
