The purpose of this fund, offering up to £10,000, is to support museums to work in partnership to run collaborative training courses and skills development programmes in Scotland. The fund aims to increase access to good quality, affordable and relevant skills development support for the museum sector, strengthening knowledge sharing, partnership working and peer support. We will fund all types of skills development and training activities including board development, mentoring, formal training, fact finding visits, skills sharing, shadowing, exchanges etc.
In all instances it must be clear that the main benefit of the funding will be for Accredited museums in Scotland.
You may apply for grants of £1,000-£10, 000 up to 100% funding.
This is a rolling programme which will open on 15th July 2015. Applications will be accepted until the fund is fully allocated and all projects must be completed by 8 March 2017
