MGS Main Grant funding 2012/13
MGS Main Grants are available to Accredited museums and offer between £5,000 and £30,000 for projects that achieve strategic change in an organisation or the sector. This year, due to a grants review, the grants application process will be handled slightly differently.
Full Applications are invited with a closing date of Thursday 2 February 2012 at 12 noon. There will, however, be no pre-application phase. Support will still be available and we would strongly encourage you to discuss your project idea with a relevant member of MGS staff prior to submitting your application. This year we will not be able to fund posts running beyond 31 March 2013.
The external review of the grants programme will be commissioned during winter 2011/12 to investigate options for future delivery and development for the programme to support the proposed National Strategy. For the financial year 2012/13 will be running a Main Grant funding round as we have done in previous years.
