Experience the archaeology, history and natural history of the Island in the Bute Museum. There is an extensive display of birds and island wildlife, and a wild flower display throughout the summer. Exhibits from early stone tools to Clyde steamers come from every period of Bute’s history. There are also paintings and an extensive collection of photographs of old Rothesay.
