'Local Heroes' - Caithness Horizons Celebrates 350 years of the Royal Society

Caithness Horizons in Thurso, Caithness is one of the newest museums in Scotland. This April, it will help celebrate the 350th anniversary of the Royal Society, London, the world’s oldest scientific academy in continuous existence. Caithness Horizons has pulled together a special weekend of talks and presentations to mark the occasion, uniting the Arts and the Sciences to salute the achievement of three great human minds: Robert Dick, Jocelyn Bell Burnell and Mary Somerville.
