This collection consists of a wide variety of material relating to the Burgh and Ecclesiastical Administration of Dollar, to Dollar Academy, the Board School and Strathdevon Primary, to the Devon Valley Railway, to local clubs and societies, to local shops, businesses and industries, to Castle Campbell, Dollar Glen, Rumbling Bridge, the Japanese Gardens at Cowden, to local buildings including mansion houses, to families and individuals with local connections, to the scenery, flora and fauna and ecology and the history and prehistory of the civil parishes of Dollar, Muckhart, Glendevon and Crook of Devon, and to the links between Dollar and the Dominions, Colonies and other foreign countries. This material is in the form of artefacts, books, photographs, prints, photocopies, maps, other documents and ephemera.
