

HIDDEN TREASURES, The Museum of Lead Mining has something for everyone. Situated in Wanlockhead, Scotland’s highest village, the museum offers visitors a chance to explore the rich culture and heritage of the area through taking a guided tour down the mine, around the period cottages or into the Subscription Library (the 2nd oldest in Britain).

This collection includes approximately 20 items and consists largely of hand tools. There are gaps in this collection in the dairying and sheep farming areas.
