2nd November 2011

In September 2011 Kilmartin House Museum applied for a SURF Award in the Place category, were delighted to be shortlisted in October and enjoyed meeting a panel of judges at the Museum in mid October.

Even though it was an extremely wet and cold day they managed to impress upon them what a great place the Museum and the Glen are and how important they are economically and socially. They are delighted to be informed that they are receiving a Highly Commended Award in the Place category.

Museum staff will be attending the Awards dinner in Glasgow on 8th December and are looking forward to meeting with other Award winners.
