

This late 16th century tower house with 19th century Jacobean style additions was left to the nation in 1926 on condition that the furnishings would not be changed. The important Edwardian interior is still intact and contains period and reproduction furniture, an impressive collection of Derbyshire Blue John ornaments, a unique collection of Crossley Wool mosaics and a wide range of other ‘objets d’art’.
