
The Museum Collections Unit manages eight Registered collections:
Heritage (fine and applied art, archaeology, numismatics, etc.); Historic Scientific Instruments; Ethnographic and Amerindian; Bell Pettigrew Museum of Zoology; Anatomy and Pathology; Chemistry; Psychology; and Geology. Three of these collections – the Heritage collection, Historic Scientific Instruments and Chemistry - have been designated as Recognised Collections of National Significance.
