Cross the 15th century Devorgilla Bridge to the Old Bridge House. Built in 1660 into the the sandstone bridge itself, Dumfries’s oldest house is now a museum of everyday life in the town.

Our Collection



You will see kitchens as they were in the 1850s and 1900s, an early dentist's surgery and a Victorian nursery.
