Set in beautiful parkland, this elegant 17th century mansion houses a ground floor orientation display for Pittencreiff Park. “Magic of the Glen” will open your eyes to the magic of the park, known locally as “The Glen”. Dinosaurs, fossils and furry creatures all come into the story as well as human beings, covering 350 million years. Children can hunt for Calum the Cartoon Cockroach whose ancestors lived at the time when coal was still growing in tropical swamps.
Free admission, open 11am – 5pm daily (April – Sept) and 11am – 4pm (Oct – March).
