Archaeology

This is a collection of material from the FIfe area, which is particularly strong in pre-history and includes material from the University of St Andrews Department of Archaeology.

Natural History

This is a relatively small, mostly unprovenanced collection including botany, zoology and geology. There are a small number of important specimens including fossil fish from Dura Den collected by the Rev Dr John Anderson of Newburgh.

Costume

This is a fairly large collection of 19th and 20th

century costume, consisting mainly of women?s and children?s clothing and accessories. Male costume is represented mostly by military and civic uniform.
