

Quarriers Museum, in Mount Zion Church, comprises artefacts depicting the life of William Quarrier, a Victorian philanthropist who set up the Orphan Homes of Scotland in 1878 and the work of the charity he founded, now known as Quarriers. Thre is also an archive containing the records of the 30,000 children who stayed in the Village from 1978 to ca. 1980, including over 7,000 who went to Canada as part of the child migration programme.
