Promoting understanding between people of different faiths and of none

The award winning St Mungo Museum explores the importance of religion in people's lives across the world and across time.

Find out about some of the world’s major religions including Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Islam, Judaism, Sikhism and Chinese beliefs. You can also see stunning works of art including a statue of the Hindu god Ganesh.

Outside is Britain’s first authentic Zen garden, where you can relax and enjoy a haven of tranquility in a bustling city. St Mungo is situated within Cathedral Precinct, alongside the medieval Glasgow Cathedral, the Victorian cemetery Glasgow Necropolis and Provand’s Lordship, Glasgow’s oldest house.
