

The Baird in Cumnock houses a temporary exhibition space which features work by artists and crafters which are often accompanied by workshops and events. Important collections of Mauchline Ware (intricately decorated wooden boxes), Cumnock Pottery bearing Scots mottos and personalised inscriptions and social and industrial history materialrelating to the area.
The James Keir Hardie room interprets the life of the founder of the Labour Party who lived in Cumnock. THe display contains part of the Lochnorris Collection and includes election posters, souvenirs, letters and personal belongings.
