Hands On training pack for teachers available

A training pack for teachers on how to use the Hands On Guide produced by MGS in partnership with Glasgow Museums, is available from the MGS website.

The free training pack accompanies the Hands On Guide, and provides a training session of one day, to support teachers to deliver the Curriculum for Excellence through object-based learning sessions. The training pack is used together with a PowerPoint presentation

Two experienced facilitators of the Hands On Training Pack for Teachers can be contacted through our Learning and Access Manager.

Speaking about the Hands on teacher training one primary school teacher from Dundee said “It has given me greater confidence to try out new methods of engaging pupils in learning through a meaningful and interactive context.”
