New applicants
Before being asked to complete a full Accreditation application, new applicants to the 2011 Accreditation Standard will be asked to complete an Eligibility Questionnaire. Once this has been submitted and assessed, the museum will have 12 months to make a start on an application. During this time, the museum will be listed as "progressing towards Accreditation".
Accredited Museums
Museums currently participating in the scheme will receive a scheduled Accreditation Return request between 2011-14. The Accreditation Return is similar to the Biennial Return required under the 2004 Standard. Download a copy of the rollout of the Accreditation Returns.
