Taking part in the Festival of Museums
We invite all museums and galleries in Scotland to take part in the Festival of Museums in 2012.
Festival of Museums events do not have one overall theme - museums can tailor their event/s to attract their desired audience or to meet their own objectives. This flexibility means that we will have a dynamic annual programme which changes every year.
We welcome day or night events as part of the programme – the choice is yours. However, if possible we encourage museums to consider holding an ‘out of hours’ evening/night event simply because these bring extra public interest, potentially new audiences and these events can be cross promoted as part of the Museums at Night programme.
