QIS and Accreditation
QIS is designed to provide a framework for continuous improvement once museums have achieved Accreditation. Visit the Accreditation pages for more information on the Accreditation Scheme.
Arts Council England is currently leading the Accreditation Development Project, aimed at ensuring that the Scheme remains helpful, relevant and appropriate. MGS are members of the Accreditation Advisory Panel.
Information gathered as part of this project is feeding into both the development of the Accreditation Scheme and the development of QIS, ensuring that both models are streamlined as much as possible and meet the requirements of the sector.
