
Patricia is an art historian with extensive experience of museum work. Patricia worked for fifteen years in curatorial and management posts in local authority museums, followed by six years at the Scottish Museums Council (now Museums Galleries Scotland), where she was Assistant Director and project-managed Scotland’s National Audit of museums and galleries. In 2002 she became a freelance consultant, undertaking project and development work for a range of clients including MLA and the Heritage Lottery Fund. She also teaches art history at Edinburgh University, and lectures in galleries and museums. She holds the Associateship of the Museums Association, and Fellowships of the Society of Antiquaries of Scotland and the Royal Society of Arts.
