Alexander Hayward

Alex is Keeper of Science and Technology at National Museums Scotland. He has over twenty years experience working in museums with a technological and industrial heritage focus, including local authority and independent museums. During his eight years at the Science Museum, London, he managed the PRISM grant fund and carried out a range of curatorial and development projects. He has been an Expert Advisor for the Heritage Lottery Fund and a member of the judging panel for the Conservation Awards sponsored by the Jerwood Foundation. Alex is currently the Scottish representative on the UK Science, Technology and Industry Subject Specialist Network.
