Evelyn Silber

Evelyn as experience of management of several large museum services and is now an Honorary Professorial Research Fellow at the University of Glasgow having retired from the post of Director of the Hunterian Museum and Art Gallery. She has over twenty five years experience of the sector and has led the nationally important, multi-collection services at Birmingham and Leeds before moving to Scotland. She is a member of the AHRC Committee for University Museums and Galleries, Convenor of University Museums in Scotland and has several years’ direct experience of seeking recognition and funding from the Designation Scheme in England.
