There are many resources available which give guidance and advice on evaluation. Below we have listed some sources of particular use to those in cultural and voluntary organisations.
Evaluation Support Scotland
Evaluation Support Scotland works with voluntary organisations and funders so they can measure the impact of their work. They provide practical support and access to resources and tools. They take action to build evaluation and learning into funding and policy-making processes.
With their support you can find out what you do well and what you can improve, to deliver better services.
Voluntary Arts Wales
Voluntary Arts Wales is the Wales development agency for the participatory arts in Wales. Voluntary Arts Wales works across the whole of Wales to provide mentoring and help with planning, development, training, networking, fund raising and marketing strategies. They have specific resources on evaluating projects, including the publication "Tear Up Your Tick Boxes".
Heritage Lottery Fund
The Heritage Lottery Fund gives grants to a wide range of projects. They provide guidance on evaluation as a key part of their grant-making process.
