NET-HERITAGE Observatory

The NET-HERITAGE Observatory (or web portal) focuses on research on the Protection of Tangible Cultural Heritage. It is intended for a wide audience of researchers, practitioners, funding agencies, policymakers and anyone with an interest in European cultural heritage.  This is a European Commission funded project, being led in the UK by the Arts and Humanities Research Council.

Museums Galleries Scotland are represented on the UK stakeholder group. We have submitted content for the pilot site, which is now live. Please click on the following link to visit the NET-HERITAGE Observatory. We encourage to take a look at the Observatory and see what information it can offer you.

There is also an opportunity for further content to be added. If you have any content which you would like to be considered for inclusion, visit the “Contribute Content” section of the NET-HERITAGE Observatory.

For those of you who haven’t heard about this project before, or would like more information about the NET-HERITAGE project as a whole, this can be found at www.netheritage.eu.

If you have any further questions, please contact the Head of Research and Standards.
