Peter Stott

Peter has worked in the national and local authority museum sectors in Edinburgh, London and Falkirk since 1981. He is particularly involved in professional development across the sector, taking part in the work of the National Training Organisations, acting as mentor and reviewer for the Museum Association’s CPD scheme and helping to create the Strategic Change Fund leadership development project of 2003-6. He gained Fellowship of the Museums Association in 2007. He is interested in the long-term social value of museums and in sector change, and has given conference presentations on these topics in Scotland and abroad. Peter was part of the project team involved in achieving World Heritage inscription for the Antonine Wall.
