This workshop explores website accessibility and why meeting the accessibility standards is vital to your organisation.

Nearly 1 in 4 people have a disability that makes it difficult for them to access websites. Do you want to ensure that you’re acknowledging and engaging all your website visitors and not excluding anyone? Do you feel you need to do more but don’t know where to start?

During this workshop you will learn how to produce an accessibility audit and uncover the quick wins you can use to improve your website.

This workshop will:

  • Provide clear examples of how to make your website WCAG compliant
  • Identify tools to help test accessibility
  • Help you discover how to quickly fix some issues and identify when you need help

Any prior knowledge/experience needed to benefit from this session?

An understanding of content management systems and editing website content would be useful but not essential.
