Getting our members together for interactive, lively discussions, key information and feedback, is core to our membership offer and one of the many ways we highlight and celebrate our diverse membership. It ensures your voice is heard, and that the MA reflects your work in our policy campaigns. The event also offers the chance to discuss the issue with your fellow MA members.
Join us for the fourth in our new series of online-only members’ events, where we’ll discuss our Museums for Climate Justice campaign.
Our panel will answer your questions and share their views on how we can make the sector more sustainable and tackle the climate and ecological crisis. The aim is to empower museums to be bold and brave, putting forward a systems change approach that focuses on climate and social justice.
Ashish Ghadiali, Director of Radical Ecology, will share the key points and recommendations from the report, “A Framework for Environmental Justice”.
A Framework for Environmental Justice enables organisations to deliver a robust response to deepening crises and calls for transformation by integrating work across sustainability, equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) and decolonisation.
Hear from case study partners – The National Trust, Southbank Centre and Plymouth Culture –who will share their experience and learnings.
Members Together Online events are open to all individual members of the Museums Association, freelance and consultant members, staff at institutional members and commercial members.
