Board Chair at Museums Galleries Scotland

Working Hours: Part time
Contract: Fixed term for 4 years with the option to extend for a further 4 years
Salary: Voluntary/Non-renumerated
Location: Hybrid/Edinburgh

MGS is looking for a new Chair with experience of charity governance and working with Scottish Government, to act as a passionate advocate for Scotland’s museums and galleries and to lead the Board in supporting Museums Galleries Scotland to effectively develop and champion the sector. Candidates should also have a commitment and appreciation of the importance of museums and galleries as integral institutions of Scotland’s cultural sector.
