Contract Summary
MGS is looking to appoint a contractor for the evaluation of the Delivering Change Leadership Strand.
Delivering Change is a collective effort between MGS and partnering museums, galleries, and community groups to restructure as organisations based on anti-oppressive principles. It has been developed by MGS and an Expert Advisory Group, who have lived and professional experience of barriers to participation in culture. The project is funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund, Esmée Fairbairn Foundation, and the Scottish Government. The overall project is being evaluated by Ikake Rising but a separate standalone evaluation is required for the leadership element.
The Leadership Strand will consist of a reciprocal mentorship programme, pairing someone with lived experience of systemic exclusion who is interested in entering leadership with a leader from the Delivering Change Museum Transformers programme. The Museum Transformers programme is currently underway and the 19 participants are undergoing an organisation-wide programme of anti-oppression learning, action planning, and restructuring based on anti-oppressive principles.
