About the Event
Join Resourcing Scotland’s Heritage (RSH) for the first of our ‘In Conversation’ evenings – part of the RSH Trustees’ Toolkit event series, supporting Boards and Trustees to increase fundraising effectiveness through focused briefing sessions and peer-learning events.
For the first ‘In Conversation’ event, chair Catherine Holden will be joined by a panel of expert guests, to share their experiences, insights and tips on fundraising for the heritage sector. The panel will be comprised of individuals working with both large and small organisations; those in the thick of a fundraising campaign, or with a campaign behind or ahead of them, and others focusing on revenue fundraising.
Participating in the evening’s panel discussion will be –
Bruce Minto, OBE
Co-founder of law firm Dickson Minto, where he is Managing Partner, Bruce became Chairman of the Board of Trustees of National Museums Scotland in August 2012. He was awarded an OBE in the 2015 New Year Honours List for services to Culture.
Chair and Board Member at Stills: Centre for Photography, Ginnie has a wealth of experience in the cultural sector, working with organisations such as Screen Scotland, Creative Edinburgh and Edinburgh International Film Festival, across arts management, fundraising and governance.
Plus additional guests to be confirmed.
This informal, interactive event will provide attendees with the opportunity to hear from experienced professionals, participate in an open discussion and to hear reflections on fundraising in the sector. Whilst designed for trustees of heritage organisations, we would welcome anyone working or volunteering in the heritage sector to attend.
There will also be an opportunity for networking and discussion with peers, with refreshments provided throughout the evening.Register online
