Catherine Myles

Catherine is a Grants Manager with the Museum Development team. She supports the delivery of our core grant programmes, the Small Grants and Museum Development fund, throughout the year. In addition, she will also support the delivery of ad hoc funding which can benefit the sector by allowing them to focus on specific priorities as opportunities arise.

Catherine enjoys seeing the progression of museums as they develop and grow with funding support. She is particularly keen to see project funding used as a short-term intervention which builds long-term sustainability within museums. She has enjoyed getting out and visiting museums around the country and is always up for a wee road trip.

Catherine is based on the Isle of Skye and has an interest in how culture and community life is sustained and celebrated in remote, rural settings.
