Fiona Skiffington

Business Support Project Manager
An adult with light skin, long light brown hair, and a black shirt.

Fiona is the Business Support Project Manager at Museums Galleries Scotland. She helps heritage organisations across Scotland develop skills and build their capacity through the management and delivery of the ‘Surviving to Thriving’ Business Support Programme, funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.

A PRINCE2 Practitioner in Project Management, Fiona joined MGS in August 2020 from a background in Business Resilience and Training across a number of sectors. She particularly enjoys learning about each organisation’s individual training and development needs and supporting them on their journey to becoming sustainable and resilient businesses.

Fiona has her hands full at home looking after her three Golden Retrievers, with the possibility of a fourth joining at any point, and a cat who prefers some peace and quiet. Fiona also enjoys learning Scottish Gaelic and has recently completed her first-year learning online with the University of the Highlands and Islands and Sabhal Mòr Ostaig. The e spòrsail a bhith ag ionnsachadh Gàidhlig, agus the i math dhut!
