Join GEM Scotland for an engaging day of professional learning, connection and inspiration across the museums and heritage sector.
Beginning with refreshments, welcome and an introduction to GEM, the programme features a range of insightful sessions—from Baby and Early Years at Perth Museum to Digital Learning at National Museums Scotland. Hear practical perspectives on working with volunteers and freelancers and take part in a tour of Kelvingrove before heading to Kelvin Hall for hands-on experiences including Open Museum Kits. With plenty of time for networking, discussion, and reflection—plus tea, coffee and cake—this is a fantastic opportunity to share ideas and connect with peers from across Scotland.
Please note, lunch will not be provided. Please bring a packed lunch or purchase something in the local area.
