This webinar is offered as part of the Museum Futures wraparound programme and is open to both participants and non-participants. The Museum Futures programme of essential support has been developed in direct response to the significant and ongoing financial and capacity challenges faced by the sector.
Join us for an informative webinar aimed at strengthening the cyber resilience of voluntary organisations in Scotland. As part of CyberSecurity Awareness Month, this session will equip participants with practical knowledge to tackle the most common digital threats faced by the third sector today.
Leading the session is Alison Brogan, Cyber Resilience Co-ordinator at SCVO. Alison has more than 20 years experience within cyber security, fulfilling various operational, managerial and consultancy roles. At SCVO, she leads a programme of work, in partnership with Scottish Government, to help third sector organisations stay safe online.
The session will also introduce the wider work of the CyberScotland Partnership and highlight the support available to organisations working with beneficiaries and communities across Scotland. There will be plenty of time for discussion, giving attendees the opportunity to share experiences, explore current challenges, and learn from cyber security practices emerging within the Scottish museum sector.
