Alice Veness

Alice is an Accreditation Officer at Museums Galleries Scotland, where she supports and assesses museums across the country through the Accreditation Scheme.

With experience in both independent and national museums, Alice is passionate about fostering inclusive and sustainable practice across the sector and is dedicated to helping museums of all sizes meet professional standards in ways that reflect their distinct missions and communities.

Outside of work, you’ll find Alice exploring Scotland’s coastlines, visiting botanical gardens, and caring for her ever-growing collection of houseplants.
