Conor Jon Ellis

Conor is the Director of Science Learning and Engagement at Dynamic Earth, the Edinburgh Science Centre and Planetarium, which empowers audiences with understanding and empathy for the Earth through compelling exhibitions and programmes.

Conor leads the organisation’s science and experiences strategies and the work of the learning and engagement directorate with school learners, families, adults, young people and underrepresented audiences in Edinburgh and across Scotland.

Conor has worked across the cultural landscape with science centres, festivals and National Museums Scotland, and has significant experience of working in partnership with a wide range of organisations reaching diverse audiences across Scotland, UK and internationally. Conor is currently supporting Education Scotland in the Curriculum Improvement Cycle and is a member of an SCQF Steering Group. He was previously a Trustee with 2050 Climate Group.

Conor is passionate about equable access to cultural opportunities, authentic co-creation with audiences and creating compelling experiences with impact that lasts.
