Gillian Darroch

Gillian is the Skills Development Manager at MGS, responsible for facilitating learning and development opportunities for the museum workforce. She is passionate about creating engaging experiences that enable people to develop skills essential for navigating a fast-paced, changing world.

Gillian has worked in education for nearly 20 years, starting out as a primary school teacher then moving on to leading enterprise and financial education programmes at Young Enterprise Scotland. She is delighted to bring this experience and knowledge into the heritage sector.

Outside of MGS, you will find Gillian trying out a new restaurant, travelling to new countries or watching Scotland play at Murrayfield, all with a nice glass of red in hand.
