Louise Storie

Louise is the Marketing and Communications Manager at Museums Galleries Scotland. Working within a busy comms team at MGS, her role involves helping to raise the profile of MGS and the work of the museum sector to various stakeholders. She has a particular interest in brand development and is at her happiest pulling together design briefs and pouring over proofs, as she watches words on a page come to life.   

Louise came to MGS in 2019, from a background in marketing and brand development. She spent 15 years with an Edinburgh-based marketing and design agency, working with a wide range of clients, including museums and galleries. Prior to that, she spent eight years at VisitScotland working in International and UK marketing.  

In her spare time, Louise enjoys spending time with her family and new puppy, in her local area of Leith. You will always find her at Leith market on a Saturday, buying bread, chatting to other new puppy owners, and drinking coffee – her other favourite past-time.
