Disability essentials: VisitScotland E-learning course

VisitScotland are working with AccessAble to provide businesses with free access to an online Disability Essentials e-learning course.
Aimed at front of house staff, this course will support staff to confidently engage with disabled visitors. It uniquely combines legal requirements with the lived experience of disabled people.
The course takes 30 – 40 minutes to complete.
The course modules cover:
- what do we mean by the word “disability”?
- types of disability conditions
- how to provide a great service for everyone
- language surrounding disabilities
Once you register, you can do the course all in one go, or stop at any point and come back to it.
At the end of each module there is a short multiple-choice test with the pass rate of 70%.
After you have successfully completed the modules, you will receive a training certificate.
