Gabi Gillott

Gabi works across multiple roles at Museums Galleries Scotland, including coordinating the leadership strand of Delivering Change, an anti-oppression programme designed to transform leadership culture in Scotland’s museums. As Museum Development Co-ordinator for Delivering Change, Gabi works closely with the Programme Manager to develop and deliver the Museum Learning Programme. As a Workplace Assessor, she also assesses candidates for SVQs in Museums and Galleries Practice.

Gabi has a background in creative community engagement, learning, and freelance art projects, having worked with a range of creative and community organisations. She is passionate about making heritage accessible to all and embedding inclusive practice across the sector. She is happiest when thinking, making and doing with other folk.

Outside of MGS, Gabi can often be found DIYing, gardening with her neighbours, and/or playing video games.
