Helen Raggett

Helen Raggett is the Senior Resources Manager at Museums Galleries Scotland. She is responsible for the development of people, learning and wellbeing practice at MGS. As part of the Resources team, she helps to create approaches and systems which enable and empower staff. This includes all aspects of employee experience at MGS including recruitment, development, wellbeing, staff policies, reward and recognition, and supporting line managers with effective management and resourcing.

Continuous improvement is at the heart of her work. A key element of her role is embedding at MGS the fair work principles and inclusive workforce practices that we promote and support across the sector.

Helen is driven by making work a positive experience, and understanding what that means for different people. She is interested in creating positive organisational cultures which allow all staff to contribute and develop to the best of their potential, and the positive impact of this for both individuals and organisation.

Outside of work Helen enjoys spending time with family and friends, listening to music or curling up on the sofa with a good book.
