Laura McDonald

Laura is the Contracts and Procurement Manager at Museums Galleries Scotland. She is a qualified, but currently non-practising, solicitor who uses her legal background to manage the delivery and development of procurement processes. Laura works across the organisation to support colleagues in creating contracts for projects and services.

After working in private legal practice for several years, she has found a role that combines her legal skills with her passion for heritage and culture. In her free time, Laura enjoys spending time riding her horse Celine and she also enjoys touring Scotland’s garden centres. She is also a linguaphile and has studied a variety of languages, including Japanese, Russian, Spanish, French, and Italian.
