Lizzy Campbell
People and Learning Officer
Lizzy is People and Learning Officer at Museums Galleries Scotland supporting MGS staff with all aspects of HR and Learning and Development including recruitment, new staff contracts and inductions, HR policy work, staff surveys and training. Prior to joining MGS, Lizzy spent 10 years working as a lawyer specialising in employment law before having a career break and then taking the leap into HR.
Outside of work Lizzy enjoys gardening and attempting to grow her own fruit and vegetables and then attempting to feed these to her two daughters (both with limited success!) She can also be found making fabulous cheese scones and during lockdown discovered a love of walks in the Pentlands. She is also involved in her children’s school PTA and helps to organise the summer and Christmas fairs.
